Obituary of Harvey Goddard

Harvey Wheaton Goddard was born on July 21, 1927 in Berwick; he was the son of the late Norman and Francis (Orr) Goddard. Harvey will be lovingly remembered by his daughters: Linda and Allen Breau of Grand Bay, Westfield, and Janice and Peter Candy of Falmouth, NS; his son: Peter and Georgetta Goddard of Berwick; his daughter-in-law: Mary Jane Goddard of Fredericton; his sister Mabel Dalling of Waterford; his sisters-in-law: Edna Goddard of Berwick, Myrtle Goddard of Waterford and Marjorie Goddard Berwick; his grandchildren: Colin Breau, of Halifax, Nathan Breau, of Grand Bay Westfield, Kurt Goddard and his wife Rebecca of Fredericton, Dustin Goddard and his wife Chelsey of Saskatchewan, Lucas Candy and his wife Melissa of Fredericton, Jonah Candy and his wife Sarah of Fort Simpson, NWT, Samantha Carr and Paul Carter of Aulac, NB, Raymond Goddard and his wife Gina of Sussex, Wesley Goddard and his wife Terri of Berwick and Charles Goddard of BC; great-grandchildren: Gideon, Esther, Layla, Katie, Alex, Brianna, Harvey and Tegan; several nieces, nephews and many extended family and friends. Harvey Goddard Sr. of Millstream passed away at the Sussex Health Center on April 13, 2015 at the age of 87. He is predeceased by his parents, Norman Spencer and Frances (Orr) Goddard; his wife Pauline (Parlee) Goddard; two sons: Harold in infancy and James in 2010; his brothers: Clifford, Perley, Everett, Eric, Herbert, Robert, Clarence, Wesley, Donald, Palmer and Russell; and his sisters: Marion Gillett, Florence Campbell, Vivian Matchett and Carrie Gowlett. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) with visitation being held on Friday, April 17th from 1-3 and 6-8pm. A service celebrating Harvey's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Saturday, April 18th, 2015 at 11:00am followed by a time of fellowship with the family.
