Obituary of Melba Anderson

Melba was born on November 6, 1921; she was the daughter of the late Medley and Jennie Mason and the wife of the late Fletcher Anderson who passed away in 1999. Melba will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: Jennifer Kaye and her husband Douglas of Smith Creek and Barbara Singh and Yogi of New Maryland; her son, Wayne Anderson and his wife Carol Anne of Apohaqui; her brothers: David, Warren and Dallas; her sisters: Ruth Goodman and Gladys O'Donnell; 6 grandchildren: Jeffrey, Wesley (Jenn), Teresa, Andrew (Stacey), Keith (Alicia) and Kathleen (Cory); 3 great grandchildren: Breanne, Kelsey and Gwen; her sister-in-law Peggy (Gordon) Pollock as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Melba Anderson passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on April 25, 2015. She was predeceased by: her brothers: Vaughn, Gerald and Reginald and her sisters, Lola Hutchins and Velma Bowers. Arrangements are entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506) 433-1176 where visitation will be held on Monday, April 27th from 1-3 and 6-8pm. Royal Canadian Legion, Sussex Branch #20 will be holding a tribute on Monday evening at 5:45pm. A private family service will be held at a later date with the interment taking place at Trinity Cemetery.
