I was billeted to the Mitton house while on student exchange in 1986. We stayed in touch for a long time. Just today I googled Kenda and found this. I am so sad and shocked. I am so sorry Ken and Ruth for your tragic loss. Kenda was a great human and will be missed by so many.

Kenda was one of the dearest students I ever taught. She was a member of my choir The Minstrels for four years and she travelled with us on an Open House Exchange to Oungre SK when she was in high school. My husband, Tom and I loved seeing her represent her branch of the NBTA the years she was a delegate.

We went to high school with Kenda and no one could ever find a kinder gentler soul. She stood out amongst all and we are very sad to hear of her passing at such a young age. I cannot even begin to find the words to express the heartbreak we feel for your family. Although we did not know her husband and children please know our thoughts of love are with you all.
Kenda was a beautiful person, and to have her taken from your life so suddenly must make you all wonder what God's purpose could possibly be.
