Obituary of Doris Winnifred Cunningham

Doris was born on March 2, 1934 in Millstream, and was the daughter of the late Harold Parlee of Millstream and Elma Ferne (Folkins) of Pleasant Ridge. She was the wife of the late John Edwin Cunningham who passed away on April 11, 2007. Doris was a retired teacher, a member of the United Church, the UCW and the Millstream Valley Lodge. She is survived by her sons: David and Penny Cunningham of Riverview and Russell and Barb Cunningham of Sussex; nine grandchildren: Tina and Robert Black of Sussex, Kim McIntyre of Drurys Cove, Anthony Cunnigham and Shawnda McLaughlin of Sussex, Amanda Petley of Piccadilly, Cory Cunningham of Newtown, Alexis Stevens of Midland, Jackie Holder of Sussex, Tamara Robertson of Riverview and Kyle Robertson of Riverview; fourteen great grandchildren: Daniel, Jeremy, Evan, Samantha, Katelyn, Brandon, Mason, Chase, Ashley, James, Christopher, Xavier, Brooklyn and Addison; three great great grandchildren; Dyson, Ezra and Zach; her brother: Allen and Marilyn Parlee of Fredericton, two sisters: Betty Green of Sussex, Darlene Kelly and her husband Austin of McAdam. Mrs. Doris Winnifred Cunningham formerly of Apohaqui passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on June 13, 2015 at the age of 81. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Monday from 1-3 and 6-8 pm. A service celebrating Doris’ life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 2:00pm.
