Genevieve was born in Rockville on November 8th, 1922; she was the daughter of the late James and Gertrude (Kilpatrick) Adair and the wife of the late Harry Ensley Dalling who passed away in 1991. Genevieve was a Member of the Harmony Lodge # 176 and St. Pauls United Church where she was also a member of the UCW. Genevieve is survived by five daughters: Nina Fanjoy of Chamber Settlement, Willa Tays of Waterford; Thelma Taylor and her husband Paul of Sussex Corner, Nancy Proctor and her husband Ronnie of Rockville and Patsy Higgins and her husband Garry of Edmonton, Alberta; four sons: Leslie and his wife Marilyn of Waterford, Ensley and his wife Cathy of Marrtown, Bobby and his wife Mary of Walker Settlement and Murray Adair and his wife Jackie of Alberta; two sisters: Ruby McLeod of Sussex Corner and Darlene McFarlane of Plumweseep; her sisters-in-law: Eloise Adair and Mabel Dalling; 29 Grandchildren: Virginia Arsenault and her husband Dwight of Sussex Corner, Shawn and his wife Tara of Waterford, Mike and his companion, Valeria Ryan of Ireland, Christopher Fanjoy and his wife Lorilee of Sussex, Michelle of Alberta, Kevin Tays and his wife Loraine of Wards Creek, Mark Tays and his wife Rhonda of Moncton, Rodney Tays and his wife Angie of Sussex Corner, David Tays and his wife Kelly of Waterford, Alan Taylor and his wife Julie of Sussex Corner, Scott and his wife Mae of Saint John, Tracy and Nick Scotney of Cambridge Narrows, Tanya Bell and her husband Tony of Sussex, Jennifer Adair of BC, Roseanne Adair of AB, Shawna Koch and her husband Nick of Alberta, Stacy Adair of Alberta, Betty Jo (BJ) O'Brien and her husband Chris of Sussex Corner, Bobby Proctor and his wife Ronda of Waterford, Cory Proctor and Martha Donahue, Melissa and Scott Gagnon of Alberta, Adam and Kristy Higgins of Alberta, Amanda Cormier and her husband Paul of Moncton, Patrice Dalling of Sussex, Robyn Dalling of Waterford, Jennie Powell and her husband Anthony of Waterford, Lacey McKinney of Apohaqui, Ashley Hauck and Candance Hauck; 60 Great Grandchildren: Brady, Nathaniel, Taneesha, Miranda, Brice, Odhran, Hailey, Paige, Carley, Matthew, Ryan, Stephanie, Michael, Ryan, Kelsy, Andrew, Bowen, Bailey, Taylor, Tyler, Courtney, Brandon, Tiffani, Suzanne, Jared, JC, Bria, Braeden, Marley, Hailey, Morgan, Olivia, Rhett, Josh, Ethan, Mitchell, Mason, Grace, Noah, Isaiah. EJ, Heather, Christopher, William, Daniel, Rebecca, Theresa, Veronica and Angilia, Hailee and Harlin; four great great grandchildren: Jace, Ryan, Nikayla and Kyleigh; as well as several nieces and nephews. Genevieve is predeceased by her husband Harry who passed away in 1991, her brothers: Eldon, Ron and Jim Adair; her sisters: Constance, Carol, Donna McKenzie and Dorothy Dalling and her sons-in-law, Donnie Tays and Raymond Fanjoy and her granddaughter, Connie Fanjoy. Mrs. Genevieve Dalling of Dutch Valley passed away at the Sussex Health Center on June 24, 2015 at the age of 92. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Friday 1-3, 6-8. A service celebrating Mrs. Dalling’s life will be held from St. Paul's United Church on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 11:00 am.
