Obituary of John Henry Cummings
Mr. John Henry Cummings was born into a farming family at home in Plumweseep on January 29, 1934 with the help of a neighbor who acted as a midwife. He was the son of the late Harry Cummings of Vinegar Hill and Ethel Inez Wheaton of Newtown.
John will continue to be in the hearts of his sisters: Mary Tabor and her husband Warren of Hillsdale and Cathy Cummings of Plumweseep, his brother: Joe of Plumweseep; his sister in law, Freda of B.C.; his brother-in-law Russell Tabor of Hillsdale, his nieces and nephews: Junior Tabor (Lisa), Bernie Tabor (Sandra), Bryant Tabor(Bonnie), Janet Gregg (William) Ed Tabor and his special niece, Patricia McLean (Wellington); his great nieces and nephews: Katelyn Tabor, Michelle Tabor, Michael Tabor (Brittany), Samantha Tabor, Trevor Tabor, Ashlee Gregg and Jenna Gregg and his special great niece and nephew: Miranda McShane (Travis) and Tyler McLean.
Mr. John Henry Cummings of Sussex, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on June 27, 2015 at the age of 81. He is predeceased by: his brothers: Fred and Ernie and by his sisters: Annie and Isabel.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Tuesday 1-3 and 6-8pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 11:00 am.
