Obituary of Teresa Lucy Phyllis Dibblee
Teresa was born in Craft's Cove, Queens Co. on February 28, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Leslie MacKenzie of Clarke Town and Lucy (Greenslade) of Midland and the wife of the late Joseph Francis Dibblee who passed away in 2006.
Teresa loved her family with all her heart and so even though sometimes she acted like "the old grump", she loved collecting bingo
dobbers, old time country music, the color pink, playing bingo with Sam, crib and "damn-it" with Joe and cards with the girls.
She will continue to live on in the hearts of her daughters; Sarah Dibblee of Sussex, Katelyn Blagdon (Dan) of Mount Pisgah; four sons: Joe of Alberta, Donnie (Joanne Harris) of Saint John, Jason (Courtney Donovan) of Penobsquis and Christopher Wortman of Sussex; her special friend and bingo buddy, Sam Wortman of Sussex, two sisters; Donna Brown of Saint John, Bessie Green and her husband Art of New York; three brothers: Gordon McKenzie and his wife Melvina of Saint John, Blake McKenzie and his wife Freda of Saint John and Doug and his wife Heather of Saint John; her sister-in-law Elsie McKenzie: ten grandchildren; Michael, Brittney, Hannah, Justin, Ryan, Brady, Aiden, Benjamin, Chase and Thomas; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Teresa Lucy Phyllis Dibblee of Penobsquis passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on June 30, 2015 at the age of 64. She is predeceased by two brothers: Stan and Don McKenzie.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Thursday from 1-3 and 6-8pm.
A service celebrating Mrs. Dibblee’s life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Friday, July 03, 2015 at 1:00pm
