Obituary of Dora Dinsmore
Mrs. Dora Velma Dinsmore of Salmon River Mouth Road Coal Creek passed away at the Oromocto Hospital on April 8, 2011 at the age of 99.
Born in Youngs Cove Road on January 13, 1912, she was the daughter of the late John Colon and Alice A. (Ferris) Tower and was the wife of the late Edward A. Dinsmore who passed away in 1968.
Dora graduated from Saint John Vocational School as a Beauty Culture and was a member of the Hospital Auxiliary and the Golf & Curling Club in British Columbia.
Dora is survived by her sister, Bernice Archibald of Petitcodiac her sisters-in-law, Vera Tower of Coles Island and Dorothy Tower of Quispamsis, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins;
Dora was predeceased by six brothers: Rowlands, Maurice, Kenneth, Harold, Cecil and Perley; three sisters: Helen Colwell, Elma Young and Stella Dysart;
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176).
In Honor of Dora's request no visitation or funeral service will be held.
The interment will take place at Chipman United Cemetery.
