Obituary of Susan Butler

Susan was born in Saint John on April 2, 1972 and grew up in Hampton on the Bonney Rd with her Grandparents Imogene and Hubert (Nan and Grampy). Susan went to Hampton Elementary school, K.V. High then moved to Sussex where she met her lifelong best friend Kelly and graduated school from Sussex Regional High School. Susan moved to Surrey, BC where she met Derrick Butler. They moved back to Sussex and in July of 1998 they had their first child Reece. Susan and Derrick were married on July 14, 2000 and Ethan came into the world on November 30 of the same year. Susan and Derrick enjoyed their family for a few years but decided they wanted more and on March 28,2005 Lexi was born then the next year on July 5, 2006 Curtis was born. Susan and Derrick celebrated their 10 year wedding anniversary in July. Susan touched all she knew with her beautiful smile, her strength and supporting ways. Susan will live on in the hearts of her husband Derrick, her children: Reece, Ethan, Lexi and Curtis, her mother Bertha Power and her husband Harold Power of Saint John, her uncle Bill Cox and his wife Shirley of Sussex Corner, her aunt Lorraine Leverington and her husband Garnet of Hampton, her special cousin Dale Cartwright of Hampton, her mother-in-law Debbie Cromwell of Abbottsford, BC, her father-in-law Doug Butler of Crofton, BC, her brother-in-law, Dan Butler and his wife Dawn of Mission, BC, her sister-in-law Delanna Butler and William McLeod of Penticton, BC, her best friend Kelly Wood and her husband Graham of Knightville, as well as several nieces and nephews: Darian, Rachelle, Jacob, Tristen, Jordan, Morgan, Connor, MacKenzie and Gracie; Susan was predeceased by her father Gerald Williams and by her grandmother Jean Wiggins. Mrs. Susan Elizabeth Butler of Chambers Settlement Rd. Chamber Settlement passed away at the International Biocare Hospital, Tijuana Mexico on April 8, 2011 at the age of 39. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A Celebration of Susan's life will be held from Penobsquis United Baptist Church on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 11:00 am followed by a time of fellowship with the family in the Church Hall.
