Obituary of Gertrude Florence Morgan

Gertrude was born in Mt Pisgah on July 19th, 1930; she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. Morgan of Ireland and Elizabeth (Purtill) of Goshen, NB. Gertrude was a long-time involved member of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Niagara Falls where she enjoyed daily mass and created warm friendships. Gert was a clerk with T.E. Quinn Truck Lines Ltd. and also worked at the Niagara Falls border. She will live on in the hearts of her sister, Dorothy McLoughlin of Sussex and New York; her nieces: Lorraine, Tracy and Donna and two nephews: George and Bradley all of Ontario and as well as several cousins. Ms. Gertrude Florence Morgan of Willougby Dr. Niagara Falls, passed away at the Bella Senior Care Residences on August 3, 2015 at the age of 85. She is predeceased by four brothers: George, Leo, Joseph and Peter and by four sisters: Evelyn, Helen, Mary and Blanche Morgan. Arrangements are entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Francis Xavier RC Church on Wednesday August 26th at 11:00am. With the interment will take place at St. Michael's RC Cemetery in Newtown, NB If you are considering making a memorial donation the family has recommended the Peoples Serenity Garden.
