Obituary of Hugh Patrick Doherty

Hugh was born in Waterford on October 23, 1947, he was the son of the late Frank and Doreen (McMannus) Doherty and was the husband of the late June (MacDonald) Doherty who passed away in 1997. Hugh will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Hughanna Dunfield (Ron) of Waterford; his sons: Christopher (Jane) of Sussex, Patrick (Tamara) of Waterford, Daniel (Sarah) of Sussex Corner and his chosen son, Drew Allan (Kim) of Waterford; grandchildren: Owen, Cayden, Ally, Maddie, Issac, Oliver and Holden. Hugh was predeceased by his parents Frank and Doreen and by his wife June, in 1997. Mr. Hugh Patrick Doherty of Waterford, passed away at on September 25, 2015 at the age of 67. Arrangements are in the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home (506) 433-1176. The family will receive relatives and friends at Hugh's Home, 843 Waterford Road, Waterford, NB on Sunday, September 27th from 6-8pm and again on Monday, September 28th from 1-3pm and 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated and held from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 11:00 am, with the interment at Wards Creek Cemetery.
