Obituary of Dale Thomas Robinson
The Robinson and MacAfee families mourn the loss of Dale Thomas Robinson on September 30, 2015 in a tragic accident.
Born on July 31, 1964 in Sussex, Dale was the son of Tom and Anne Robinson of Sussex Corner.
Dale was a very dedicated husband and father and loved Jenny and their children very much. He coached their hockey and soft ball teams and was a loyal fan.
Dale was a friend to all and always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved flea markets, his antique vehicles and babies.
Dale was a world renowned taxidermist. Some of his work is on display throughout Canada, the United States and Europe as well as locally at Adairs Wilderness Lodge, Moffats Hardware and Canadian Tire.
Dale was an active outdoors man and was a member of Ducks Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation and New Brunswick Fish and Game Association.
Dale was a wonderful son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to many and will be missed.
Besides his parents, he leaves his wife Jenny (MacAfee) and children: Morgan, Luke and Katie; his brother Brent (Tori); his sisters: Kim Welner (Jamie) and Lori Trites (Richard); mother-in-law Pauline MacAfee; sisters-in-law: Linda Waugh (Jim), Candace MacAfee (Jimmy) and Paula McDermott; nieces and nephews: Summer, Khloe, Melissa (Peter), Michael, Eliza (Greg), Vanessa, Britta (Jeff), Ashley, Erika and John-Michael as well as grand nieces and nephews.
Dale was predeceased by his father-in-law Lewis MacAfee and brother-in-law Mike McDermott.
Arrangements are in the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506) 433-1176 where visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church on Monday, October 5th, 2015 at 11:00am. Interment will take place at St. Phillips Roman Catholic Cemetery.
