Obituary of Cora Clark
Cora Pearl Moss was born in Mill Cove on July 23, 1929, to Walter and Stella (Ferris) Moss; In 1935, she started primary school and assisted with raising her sibling. As a teenager she picked berries in the summer with her brothers and sister and worked at the old Bethel Home. On September 17th, 1960, at the age of 31, Cora married Robert Clark and moved to Sussex.
In June of 1963, she gave birth to Sandra Marlene Clark who passed away. On October 17, 1963, Robert and Cora made Kathryn Ann Clark part of their family and on November 17, 1966 their family grew again when they made Carol Lynn Clark part of their family. When they had decided that their family was complete, Cora stayed home to be a homemaker and an attentive and loving mother. In 1978, the family moved to Mill Cove and became employed at Bethel Home as support staff. In 1994 Cora retired from Mill Cove Nursing Home.
In 1996, her grandson, Connor was born and she enjoyed helping raise her only grandchild. In February 2003, Robert and Cora moved to Sussex and enjoyed socializing with their many new friends and their family from Sussex. In September of 2010 they celebrated 50 wonderful years of marriage.
Cora will live on in the hearts of Robert her beloved husband of over 50 years; her daughters: Kathy Clark-Foster of St. George, Carol Clark-MacDonald and Darren Caterini of Fredericton; seven sisters: Dorothy White and her husband Orville of Quebec, Bertha Dejeet and her husband Alfred of Millcove, Muriel White and her husband Philip of Big Cove, Leta Kennedy and her husband Gordon of Hatfield's Point, Barb Bond of Big Cove, Marlene Moss of Millcove, Diane Vail and her husband David of Oromocto; four brothers: Allen Moss and his wife Lois of Burtts Corner, Chester Moss and his wife Jean of Lunenburg County NS, Everett Moss and his wife Audrey of Woodstock; Ron Moss and his wife Thelma of Sussex, her beloved grandson Connor May, as well as several nieces and nephews.
I wrote a letter to heaven today, I was not sure what I wanted to say,I know you are up there, pleased as can beJust sitting and patiently waiting for me.
