Obituary of Margaret Mary Butler

Margaret was born in Rogersville, NB on October 1, 1931 and was the daughter of the late John and Mary Anne (Richard) McIsaac and the wife of the late George Butler who passed away in 1994. Margaret attended St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church Her faith was the thing that that got her through the many losses she suffered in her life. She worked as a homemaker, a bookkeeper and cooked at the Anagance Irving that she owned with her husband George. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend to many and she will be missed. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters: Diane Sheilds and her husband Dale of PEI, Ruth Cummings and her husband Elvin of Sussex and Patsy Dunstan and her husband Mike of Havelock; her sons: Paul and his wife Fran of Cornhill, George of Salisbury, Donald and his wife Carolyn of Moncton and Wayne and his wife Tami of Ontario; her sisters: Katherine (Ron), Florence and Julia; her grandchildren: John Wayne, Samantha, Andrew, Melissa, Jonathon, Nathan, Stacey, Bobby, Billy Jo, Jordan, Paul Jr., Christine, Jennifer, Lori Anne, Shelly and Meaghan; her great grandchildren: Julia, Sarah, Marcus, Grace, Alex, Rachel, Carter, Zack, Noah, Jayme, Natiya, Jessie, Breanna, Jason and Roland, Caleb, MacKenzie, Callie, Jared, Sierra, Meriso and Ella;; as well as several nieces and nephews. Margaret Mary Butler of Sussex passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on Wednesday December 23rd, 2015 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by her sons: Robert, John, Billy and Ricky; her sisters: Anne and Ella and her brothers: Angus and Willie. Arrangements are in the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506) 433-1176. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 27th, 2015 from 1-3 and 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 28th, 2015 at 11:00am from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church with Father Dan Bastarache officiating. A reception will be held in the Church Hall immediately following the service. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Cemetery in Chipman, NB at a later date.
