Obituary of Elizabeth Agnes Vail

"Mary" Elizabeth Agnes Vail was born in Codys on July 28, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Harold Vail of Belleisle and Phoebe Jane (Perry) Vail of Codys. Mary will live on in the hearts of her brother Fred, her niece Datha Leavitt and her husband Jeff of Sussex Corner, her sister-in-law Irma Vail of Saint John and by her great nephews: Daniel Leavitt and his wife Jessica and Bradley Leavitt. "Mary" always had a smile and will always be known for her great sense of humor. In her younger years she loved to draw pictures of animals, in particular of cows, and had a special love for animals. Perhaps this passion came from when she once lived on a farm where she loved going out to the barn to be around them. "Mary" Elizabeth Vail of Apohaqui Heritage Residence, Apohaqui, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on January 25, 2016 at the age of 78. She is predeceased by her brothers: Frank and Ernie. Her family wishes to express their thanks to the staff of Apohaqui Heritage Residence where she was really happy and received excellent care. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A service celebrating Mary's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 11:00 am, visitation will immediately follow.
