Obituary of Janet Marie Stewart

Janet Stewart was born in Saint John on February 18, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Stewart of Scotland and Grace Myrtle Fisher of Saint John. Janet will remain at home in the hearts of her sisters: Norma Grundy with whom she resided, Marjorie Thomas of Quispamsis and her twin sister Joyce Stewart and her husband Lawrence Dooley of Surrey, BC, her brothers: Gordon Stewart and his wife Carol of Montreal, Murray Stewart and his wife Gail of Thunder Bay and Paul Stewart of Toronto, as well as by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Janet Marie Stewart of Sussex Corner passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on February 24, 2016 at the age of 68. She is predeceased by her sisters: Ruth Stewart and Carol Hobbs and by her brother Jimmy Stewart. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Sunday February 28th from 1-4pm. A service celebrating Janet's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Tuesday, March 1, at 1pm wit Rev. Thomas Nisbett officiating. A private family interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery, Saint John.
