Obituary of Reginald Boyd Sears
Mr. Reginald Boyd Sears was born in Sackville, he was the son of the late Herbert and Sadie (Scott) Sears.
Reg’s enthusiasm for antique cars, passion for the Boston Bruins and his love for his beloved Dogs: Koko and Sparky were just some of the things that made Reg such a a great man. He cared deeply for his grandchildren and always loved getting into and causing Shenanigans.
Reg will live on in the hearts of his loving wife, Mary (Watkins) Sears; his children: Kimberly Sears-Gauvereu of Oromocto, Paula Nason (Tony) of Tracey, NB, Bruce Sears of Oromocto, Michael Sears (Brandy) of Upper Gagetown, Kenneth Goddard of Apohaqui and Kathryn Goddard of Moncton; his brothers: Herbert, Donald, Stuart and John; his sisters: Audrey MacDonald, Margaret McKinnon, Joan Deveau and Doris Smith; his grandchildren: Andrew, Jessie, Matthew, Emily, Dalton, Lexi, Sadie, Bryanna, Trynity, Trysten, Tryanna, Cody and Nicole.
Mr. Reginald Boyd Sears of Apohaqui passed away at his residence on March 25, 2016 at the age of 67.
He was predeceased by his brother, Charles, his sisters: Elena Sears and Ellen Moore and by Mary's son Kevin.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. The Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch #20 will hold a tribute Monday evening at 5:45pm.
A service celebrating Reg's life will be held from Calvary Pentecostal Church on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 2:00 pm.
