Obituary of Bertha Marie Guimond

Mrs. Bertha Marie Guimond was born in Sussex; she was the daughter of the late Hazen and Leota (Parlee) Wright. Bertha was a loving and caring woman; she loved being part of a big family and was very close with her siblings. She loved to read just about anything she could get her hands on and loved to play cards, especially 45's. She adored animals and looked forward to her visits with Pepper, her neighbor’s dog. She will live on in the hearts of her sisters: Mary Richardson and her husband Robert of Fundy Park, Christine Wright and her husband Richard of Sussex, Beatrice Wright of Sussex and Anne Cunningham of Mill Cove; her brother, Myles Wright of Sussex; her half brother, Kenneth Wright of Roachville and by her half sister, Darlene Mott and her husband Bev of Sussex Corner; as well as several nieces and nephews. Betha Marie Guimond of Sussex passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on May 1, 2016 at the age of 66. She is predeceased by her sister, Audrey Wright; her half brothers: Malcolm, Lloyd and Esley Wright and by her half sisters: Barb Allaby and Elizabeth Trites. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A service celebrating Bertha’s life will be held from Head of Millstream Baptist Cemetery on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 11:00 am.
