Life Story of Earl "The Boss" Hall

Earl Hall "The Boss", was born on August 10, 1951, a son of the late Earl Hall Sr. and Edith (Brown) Hall and beloved husband of more than 25 years to Eileen McShane. Earl was a hard working woodsman his entire life. He was self-employed and loved to be in the woods cutting or running his skidder. In his earlier days he worked for a number of years driving truck for John Murray and also drove a brew truck for Leroy Armstrong and sons. It’s been said that there isn’t a back, country road in these parts that Earl didn’t know like the back of his hand. He was a dependable guy who would do anything, for anyone, anytime of the day or night. Earl adored his horses and had many adventures with them on sleigh rides, parades, weddings and proms and he was also a member of the Horse Pullers Assoc. of NB. Lastly, Earl was indeed a family man and really enjoyed time spent with his kids and grand kids. He was a wonderful man, with a big heart and he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by many. Along with his loving wife Eileen, Earl will live on in the hearts of his step children: Paula McShane (Jude Aubin) and Tina (Doug) Mitton; his "chosen children": Sean (Deanna) Moffett, Luke (Tammy) Moffet, Jonathan Moffett and Natasha (Corey) Hazen; his 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; his brothers Percy (Betty) Hall of Collina, Roy Hall (Anna Mercer) of Smiths Creek, and Ralph (Susie) Hall of Parleeville, NB; sisters Bernice (Jack) Gilchrist-Floyd of Norton, NB and Helen (Dave) Raven of Anagance, NB; brother-in law Cecil (Wendy) Proctor of Bellville, ON; his aunts: Frances Long of Smiths Creek and Jean Brown of Sussex; an uncle, Richard Brown of Parleeville, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Earl Richard Hall "The Boss", of Parleeville Road, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, May 27, 2016. With the exception of his parents, he is the first member of his immediate family to pass. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8pm. A graveside service celebrating Earl’s life will be held in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Sussex Corner, NB on Monday, May 30, 2016 at 11am. All family and friends are invited to attend.
