Life Story of Louise Young
Nora Louise was born in Hammondvale on March 22, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Lillian and George Gray.
Louise was a kind and loving person. The home she kept always had room for one more at the dinner table or a place for you to lay your head. She kept any secret she was told and was ready to help anyone in need. Louise was never a person to think of herself first or more important than anyone; she was always seen as a humble and generous person.
For over 20 years Louise worked in the Tea Room for G.E. Barbour Foods in Sussex. Louise also loved to have fun and made many memories throughout the years bowling in several leagues. During her later years, she was involved with the senior bowling league and senior fun games during the summer months.
Above all, Louise’s family meant the world to her. Her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her great-great-grandchildren, meant more to her than anything. Together, they made many cherished memories. The relationship she had with her brother and sister and their families was also a strong bond; one that could not be broken, even during her last days. The time she spent with them meant a great deal to her.
Louise was a beloved wife, mother, “Nan”, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend to many. She will be missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Louise will live on in the hearts of Fred, the love of her life; their children: Linda Belding and her husband Paul of Sussex, Beth Horsman and her husband Loris of Petitcodiac, Terri Howatt and her husband Randy of Petitcodiac, Lennie Young of Sussex, Tracy Young and Jamie Gladstone of Sussex, Darren Young and his wife Dawn of Sussex and Danny Teed; her brother: Alvin Gray and his wife Shirley of Hammondvale; her sister, Sandra Young of Penobsquis; her grandchildren: Scott Belding and Blythe Bridgeo, Jacob Belding and Samantha Spencer, Stevie-Anne Horsman, Randell Perry and husband Robin, Tavden Howatt and Tianna Brideau. Logan Howatt and Jenn, Angel Howatt and Kyle, Keaton Jones and wife Jessica, Matthew Young and Charlene Belding who was like a granddaughter; nine great grandchildren: Katrina, Montana, Rylee, Parker, Camden, Kale, Prestynn, Makenzie, and Arya; one great great grandchild Beauregard, as well as several nieces and nephews.
