Obituary of David Mallory
Mr. David W. Mallory was born in Hammondvale on October 4, 1940, he was the son of the late Lee and Muriel (Anderson) Mallory.
David was a simple man, he loved to visit with people and to sit and have a beer or two. He was very active and always loved to dance. In his down time he loved to watch wrestling, which was often considered his naptime, play horseshoes and cards, especially Auction 45's which was a Mallory Family Reunion Tradition.
In his working years, he drove dump truck and cement truck and worked as a carpenter; building alot of the barns around our area. His passion was farming and loved to care for the cows, pigs and chickens.
At the end of the day, his family was his most prized accomplishment, he loved being a father and grandfather and enjoyed all the time and visits spent with them.
David will live on in the hearts of his daughters: Brenda Lee Briggs and her husband Mike of Cambridge Narrows, Elizabeth Hebert and her husband Fred of St. Martins and Crystal Dallon and her husband Kenny of Saint John; two sons; Mark Mallory of Sussex and Doug Mallory of Sussex; his brothers: Bernard and his wife Jackie of Sussex Corner and Cyril and his friend Candy of Sussex; his sister: Yvonne Sherwood of Sussex Corner; his sisters-in-law: Mona of ON and Kay of Saint John; his grandchildren: Judson Carhart and Melissa of Saint John, Donna Hebert of On and Amanda Hebert (Adam) of Saint John, Ryan Dallon and his wife Amanda of Alberta, Bernard Dallon of Alberta, Crystal Dallon and Matt Cassidy of Bloomfield, Thomas Dallon and Bobbie of Norton, Charles Mallory of Alberta, Emily Briggs of Quispamsis and Kaylea Briggs (Scott) of Alberta; his great grandchildren: Blake, Arlington, Lillian, Jaxson, Kadeance, Sarah, Joseph, Gabriela, Aubrey, Avaleigh, Emily and Justin; three soon to be great grandchildren: Luna, Winter and Autumn; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. David W. Mallory formerly of Hammondvale, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on July 22, 2016 at the age of 75.
He is predeceased by the mother of his children, Sarah Mallory; his brothers: Hartley and his wife Helen, Kenny, and George; his sister, Helen Reicker; and his brother-in-law, Doug Sherwood.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176).
A service celebrating David's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 11:00 am.
