Obituary of Doris Green
Mrs. Doris Robyna Green was born in Campbellton on March 14, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Jane (Duplessie) Flann and was the wife of the late Reverend Norman Russell Green who passed away in 1981. Doris was an Elder of St. Paul's United Church Session and Choir;, a Past President of the Sussex Health Centre Auxiliary, a Past President of the Sussex Seniors group, a Past President of the Golden Age Seniors in Smith Creek, President of the Fidelity Group, a Hospitality Hostess for the St. John Ambulance; a member of the Sussex Curling Club, the Smith Creek UCW, Kings East Women's Liberal Association, the Friday afternoon bridge club and a Canadian Red Cross Donor since 1976. Doris is survived by her sons: N. Russell and wife Gloria of Crocker Hill; David and his wife Penny of English Town, Cape Breton, NS and Ralston and wife Carol of Whitby, Ontario; her brother: Gordon and wife Gwen of Campbelton; 8 Grandchildren: Paul Clark and his wife Joanne of Milton, ON, Robin Clark and his fiance Kathy McLean of Truro, NS, Norman Green and Tracie Bjugan of Sherwood, Oregon, Mary-Ellen Green and Trip Lewis of Fredericton, Angela Green and Jonathan Tarlton of Halifax, Maureen Green of Fredericton, Jacqueline Green of Halifax and Rachel Green of Fredericton; 3 great grandchildren: Danielle Clark and Kasen and Kyler Bjugan-Green; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughters, Mary Janet and Isabel; her brothers: Harry, Ralston, George, Rupert and Byron; her sisters: Margaret, Marion, Ruth, Jessie, Vivian, Muriel, Beulah and Viola and by her grandson John Green.
