Obituary of William Raymond Strongman
William Raymond Strongman was born in Tyne Valley, PEI on April 29, 1954 and was the son of the late James and Inez Strongman.
Ray was a hard working man who loved his family. He enjoyed fishing and working with computers. Ray retired after 32 years of working at St. Joseph’s Hospital. When he was wasn’t working or out by the water catching his next fish, he loved spending quality time with his family and friends. One of his favourite spots to visit with friends was at Tim Hortons; especially with his two great friends: Wayne and Murray.
Ray was a kind man, who loved his family, his friends, and cherishing every moment he had with them. He will be deeply missed.
He will live on in the hearts of his loving wife of 41 years, Roberta; their sons: Rylan (Salli) and Josh (Chelsea); his sisters: Ida Fillmore and Evelyn MacNevin (Allison); his grandchildren: Carter, Kailey, Rhiannon and Maci; and by his father-in-law, George Hardy (Eileen); as well as several extended family members.
He is predeceased by his parents: James and Inez Strongman; a beautiful daughter, Lacey and by his mother-in-law, Helen Hardy.
Mr. William Raymond Strongman of Cassidy Lake, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on October 21, 2016 at the age of 62.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176).
A service celebrating Mr. Strongman’s life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 1pm.
