Obituary of Sylvia Irma Robinson
On Sunday, December 11th, 2016, Mrs. Sylvia Irma (Razzetti) Robinson, beloved wife of the late Harry L. (Hank) Robinson passed away at the Sussex Regional Health Centre after a brief illness. Born in London England, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Bessie (Miller) Razzetti. Along with her parents and husband, Sylvia was also predeceased by her brother John Razzetti.
Sylvia, who was a Veteran of the British Army, met Harry during World War II and immigrated to Sussex following the war in 1946. 70 years after her landing at Pier 21, Sylvia’s roots remain nestled deep in Sussex and her traditions and love of life live on in all the lives she touched.
Sylvia was a loyal fan of the Montreal Canadians and the local baseball teams that Harry played for after the war. She never missed a game. She was also an avid bridge player and enjoyed many happy games with her bridge buddies.
Sylvia is survived by her son Graham and his wife Darlene MacMillan of Charlottetown, PEI ; her two grandchildren Melanie and Matt Robinson; great grandchildren Tyler and Ava Robinson; and sister-in-law Corrine Razzetti of Caldbeck, UK as well as her nieces and their families.
Arrangements are entrusted to the professional care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176). Respecting Sylvia's wishes, no visitation or funeral service will be held and a private interment for family and friends will take place in the spring.
