It is with great sadness that the family of Jean Wilson of Sussex and wife of the late Raymond Wilson (2010), announce her passing on January 20, 2017. Born in Norton, January 26, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Catherine O'Leary. Jean worked for over 25 years at the Save Easy in St. Stephen and Sussex and after her retirement volunteered at the Sussex Hospital gift shop. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sussex and was devoted to her friends and family throughout her life. In her later years she was extremely thankful for the love and support from her children, her special niece and nephew Donna (Harold) Kaye & Danny Parlee of Sussex, her wonderful neighbours, her sisters and her lifelong friends from numerous parts of the Province who always kept in touch throughout the years. Jean is survived by her three children: Philip (Susanne) Wilson Oak Bay, Debbie (Michael) Faulkner of Quispamsis and Stephen (Anne) Wilson of Sussex; her seven grandchildren: Melissa (Greg) Wright of Grand Bay/Westfield, Carla (Ryan) Wright of McAdam, Stephanie (Steve MacDougall) Wilson of Chamcook, Samantha Faulkner of Calgary, Christopher Faulkner of Quispamsis, Jordan Wilson of Toronto and Brett Wilson of Fredericton; her four great grandchildren Adele, Philip, Graham and Arthur; her sisters: Elizabeth Cotter and Jessie Malone of Sussex and Catherine O'Leary of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews and her cousin Kevin Campbell of Cape Cod, Mass. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her infant son Michael (1969) and her eldest sister Anne Parlee (Dec. 2016). Arrangements under the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visiting take place Monday from 4-8 pm.
