Obituary of Philip Allyn Ross

Philip was born in Hamilton, Ontario on August 3rd 1954. He was the son of the Late John Murdock Ross and Margaret Wallace. The Ross family moved to Sussex when Philip was only a child, where he spent the majority of his life. Philip was the great grandson of Fenwick Wallace the founder of Wallace Funeral Home in Sussex. Philip graduated from Sussex High School and worked with his father at Wallace Funeral Home in many aspects of the business. Philip is survived by his sister, Deborah of Calgary; his sister-in-law, Linda Ross of Edmonton; his caregiver and step-sister, Judy Milner, as well as his step-sisters: Sue White, Lori Pyne, Heather Kierstead, Rhonda Haynes and their families. Mr. Philip Allyn Ross of Sussex, passed away at his home after many years of compromised health, on January 30, 2017 at the age of 62. He is predeceased by his parents; his brother, Bill Ross and by his step-mother, Florence Ross. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). At the Philip's request no service will be held.
