Obituary of Jeremy Douglas Geldart

Jeremy Douglas Geldart was born on October 17, 1988 in Sussex. He is the son of Doug and Shirley (MacDonald) Geldart and brother to Tyler, Samantha and Chadd. Jeremy loved the outdoors, whether it was camping or growing vegetables in his garden. He worked at Reiker's Vegetable Farm which is where he learned how to grow beautiful vegetables. Jeremy loved his Tim Horton's coffee, which had to be a large double double. He would often get his grandfather to bring him a coffee or if someone happened to be coming in his way, he would ask them to bring one with them. Jeremy looked forward to the "Man's Weekend" every year which you had to be very special to be included in. Many wonderful memories were made during these times. He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. He was kind, loving and would do whatever he could to help someone out. No one knew the extent of his goodness. First and foremost, Jeremy loved his family. He enjoyed the family get togethers and had many special times with his brothers and sister. He was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend who was deeply loved. He will be missed... Jeremy will live on in the hearts of his parents, Doug and Shirley (MacDonald) Geldart of Knightville; his brothers: Tyler and Chadd of Sussex; his sister, Samantha of Moncton; his grandparents: Don (Bomp) MacDonald of Sussex and Margaret MacDonald of Ontario; his great grandmother Margaret Heidlinger; his aunts and uncles: Ray MacDonald, Randy MacDonald (Melissa), Sharon Burke (Colin), Sally Brown (Mick), Sandra Brown, Crystal Brown (Sean), John Brown (April), Kim Geldart, Nancy Comeau (Robert) and Angus Snider (Judy); his beloved companion Zoey as well as several cousins. He is predeceased by his Pa and Nan, Wendell and Hattie Geldart, his maternal great grandparents, Robert and Myrtle MacDonald and Amos and Fannie Snider. His paternal great grandfather Albert Heidlinger and his uncle Scott Presley. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Saturday, June 30th from 1-3 and 6-8pm. A celebration of Jeremy's life will be held from the Salvation Army Community Church on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at 3:00pm. The interment will take place at Roachville Cemetery. Donations made to the Sussex Mental Health would be appreciated by the family. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
