I only heard of the passing of your mother today when I was attending another memorial service. Karen and I are sorry to know that you lost both of your parents within a month. Our condolences to you both and your family. We knew your parents for well over 50 years and they were great friends.

I was saddened to hear of Serena's passing, but she is now with her beloved Paul.

My heartfelt sympathy to you Michelle and to your brother Nathan and all who knew and loved your mother. My good friend also lost both parents within a month of each other and I know how devastating it was for her. So very sorry you have this pain.
Serena was always a warm and friendly person who greeted you with a smile and often lingered in the hope that a stimulating debate would ensue. More often than not it did and we will always value those times together whether we agreed with each other or not. Both Serena and Paul were kind and supportive friends. May God bless them both now that He holds them in the palm of his hand!

Thinking of you both at this incredibly sad time. Your mother was a lovely lady. I will always remember her beautiful smile and that twinkle in her eye. Be comforted in the knowledge that she and your father are once again together and that life is changed not ended!
