Obituary of Audrey Irene Lamb

Audrey Irene Lamb was born on March 6, 1936 in Perry Point, NB; She was the daughter of the late George and Annette Phyllis (Prince) Robinson.

Early in her marriage, Audrey suffered a terrible loss when her husband Charlie Lamb was killed in an industrial accident. Audrey was left with seven young children to raise, a large task that required she stay at home to do so. She was a homemaker and later in life did some housekeeping.

Audrey liked camping, loved to dance and to socialize with people. Her flowers and being in her flower garden, made her especially. A wonderful cook, she prepared many meals that were enjoyed by many. Her pets, cats and dog, held a special place in her heart.

She is survived by her companion of 22 years, Ralph Fanjoy; her daughters: Charlene Jones (Raymond) of Knightville, Phyllis Grant (Kevin) of Kingston, Sheila Lamb of Toronto, Brenda Marshall (Ian) of Kingston, Susan Almon (Jerry) of Penobsquis, her sons: David Lamb and Albert Lamb both of Toronto; her brother, George Robinson (Linda) of Kingston and her sister, Susan Bernard (Roland) of Kingston; 13 Grandchildren: Kim, Kaylie, Patricia, Matthew. Melanie, Carrie, Tara, Jason, Sammy-Jo, Jeffrey, Johnathon, Michael and Zachary. 12 Great Grandchildren: Jaylin, Abby, Anna, Noah, Connor, Brayden, Paige, Charlee, Arlo, Jacob, Matthew and Mason.

Audrey is predeceased by her husband, Charlie Lamb; her granddaughter Andrea Lee Marshall; three brothers: Ronnie, Malcolm and Ricky Robinson and her sister, Anita Hathway.

Audrey Irene Lamb of Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Center on July 10, 2017 at the age of 81.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Thursday from 1-3 and 6-8pm.  

A service celebrating Audrey’s life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 11:00 am. There will be a time of fellowship with the family immediately following the service in the Wallace Reception Area. The interment will take place in Trinity Cemetey, Sussex Corner.
