Obituary of John Richardson

Mr. David John 'Ork' Richardson was born in Sussex on February 13, 1955. He was the son of the late Murray and Jean (Rousselle) Richardson.

John worked at Sussex Manufacturing until its closing. He decided the would open a car cleaning business he called Ork's. John and his wife of 28 years, Molly worked side by side and met many lifetime friends.

John had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to tease and crack jokes. He was a happy man full of love and when he hugged you every worry in the world would melt away in his big arms. Family was so important to him and his girls always knew it didn't matter the problem or the time of day and he would be there to lend a helping hand.  He loved camping in St. Martin's with his family. He loved listening to the waves crashing along the rocks and spent many hours walking with his friend and companion, Babe.

He will live on in the hearts of his wife, Molly (Chicoine) Richardson; his daughters: Kandace Richarson (Scott Kilpatrick) and Brandy Devine (Dwayne);  his brother, Robert (Mary);  his sister, Marilyn Withers; his granddaughters: Teneal Molly Dawn Devine and Alexis Marie Kilpatrick; his loving companion, Babe; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mr. David John 'Ork' Richardson of Sussex, passed away on July 30, 2017 at the age of 62.

He is predeceased by his sister, Shirley Thorne and by his brothers-in-law: Glen Thorne and Ted Withers.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held Wednesday August 2, 2017 from 6-8 pm.
