Obituary of Calvin Leigh Lutes

Mr. Calvin Leigh Lutes was born in Sussex, NB on July 28, 1955; he was the youngest son of the late Judson and Mabel (Thompson) Lutes.

Calvin met his wife, Pam on a blind date set up by his sister, Sheila. They were happily together for seventeen years. Calvin enjoyed hunting and fishing most of his life, playing golf with his brother Kenny and playing guitar with his mother and his sister. He worked for Overhead Doors (Windoor) and a mechanic most of his adult life.

He was a good friend to all who knew him. His best friend Andy introduced him to the Mormon faith. He found great peace with them. Calvin will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him and of course by his special cat, Tink.

He will live on in the hearts of his loving wife, Pam; his sons: Justin and Nicholas; his sister-in-law, Elizabeth Lutes and his brother-in-law, Charles Kincade; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Mr. Calvin Leigh Lutes of Sussex Corner, formerly of Hamstead passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on August 8, 2017 at the age of 62.

He is predeceased by his parents; his sister, Sheila Kincade and by his brother, Kenneth Lutes.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). At Calvin's request no visitation will be held.

A service celebrating Calvin’s life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at  2:00 pm.  Followed by a time of fellowship at St. John’s United Church Hall, Sussex Corner.
