Obituary of Gary Patrick Berryman
Gary Patrick Berryman was born on August 2, 1950 in Saint John, New Brunswick, He was one of 8 children born to Donald James and Ada Bernice (Dorbyson) Berryman.
He will always be remembered as a wonderful Husband, Dad, grandfather, brother and uncle!
Gary attended school in Saint John and studied every course he could to become an engineer.
He was a intelligent kind man, who always had a strong opinion about everything including politics. He was also known for his unique sense of humour and could always make people laugh
Gary always got great joy in the outdoors, clearing woods, yard work, planting vegetable gardens and flower beds. He loved his bird feeders and watching the birds eat especially the humming birds.
Gary was a master at all things mechanical, If it was broke, guaranteed he could fix it. He was always willing to help people fix anything, especially his daughters.
He was a earlier riser could just about always catch him up before the sunrise and he started each day with a call to his sister Roxanne.
He was a music lover he would sit at the kitchen table and rock in the chair tapping his feet along to the radio which would usually always be on 98.9 he loved the oldies, and if you had the chance to sit and talk with him and listen to music he would fill you in on the bands, He had a great knowledge of music and full of facts.
His love for his grandchildren was unbreakable, all of them had their own silly nicknames, he enjoyed telling them funny stories which they loved telling other people! Each of the kids will have special memories of their giggy.
Gary enjoyed his daily trips to tims with his wife where they would sit talk and laugh
He will be forever missed and thought of forever!
Gary is will live on in the hearts of his wife Daisy, 2 daughters: Lori Lee Borque (Gene) of Fairfield NB and Sumer Hearn (Craig) of Oromocto NB, a brother Shane Berryman (Helena) of Belleisle NB, 6 sisters; Roxanne Hooper (Walter) of Belleisle NB, Theresa Berryman (Peter) of Sussex NB, Dawn Gravel (Rick) of Sussex NB, Lee McNeil (Danny) of Fredericton NB, Lana Lagase (Richard) of Saint John NB and Tammy Berryman of Sussex NB, 7 grandchildren: Devon, Dylan, Lily, Hannah, Neighomi, Karleigh and Wyatt.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) . At Gary's request there will be no visitation or service.
