Mr. Brian Austin Wheaton was born in Moncton on May 9, 1954, he was the son of Leonard and Bernice (Douthwright) Wheaton. Brian worked as a general labourer and took great pride in his work. He also loved the outdoors, whether it was working in the woods, on the farm or hunting and fishing. He enjoyed farming. His barn animals were more like pets and he loved them all. Brian was devoted to his family and friends. He would do whatever he could to help anyone in need and he will be greatly missed. Brian leaves behind his wife Linda Wheaton, two daughters: Bonnie Mallory and her husband Brent of Penobsquis Loop, Christina Wheaton of Bloomfield, his son, Brian and Elaine Jones of Sussex; his mother Bernice of Sussex; two brothers: Fred and his wife Karen of Sussex and Brent of Saint John; four sisters: Linda Justason and her husband Mike of Jemseg, Sandra MacDonald and Jeff Critchley of Saint John, Carol Wheaton and William Forgrave of Saint John and Heather Chetley and her husband Jamie of Sussex; two grandchildren: Chloe and Tyson, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Brian is predeceased by his father, Leonard who passed away in 1992 and his brother Kirk who passed away in 2007. Brian Wheaton of Springdale passed away at the Sussex Health Center on January 19, 2011 at the age of 56.
