Obituary of Donald James Olsen

Donald James Olsen was born in Saint John on March 27, 1938.  He was the son of the late Jimmy and Hazel (Bradley) Olsen.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Lucy (Dean) Olsen; his daughter Barbara Ann Olsen; sons: Donald Arthur, Kenneth James and George William Olsen, all of Wards Creek; his grandson Jonathan Coates and two great granddaughters; his brother Kenneth Olsen of Saint John and many nieces and nephews. 

Donald was predeceased by his sister Barbara Michaud; brothers: Bobby and Stephen Olsen and his step father James Murphy.

Donald was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed his many years working on farms. He enjoyed family visits and loved to bug his sisters- in-law. He enjoyed listening to Country Music and watching T.V.

Donald passed away at the  Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex, NB on November 10, 2017, at the age of 79. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) At the request of the family there will not be any visitation or funeral service.
