Obituary of Clifford Carl Almon

Mr. Clifford Carl Almon  was born in Sussex on September 18, 1948;  He was the son of the late Sanford and Bertha Almon and husband of the late Linda Almon.

Clifford met the love of his life, Linda in Knightville and they spent their married life there until her passing in 2007.  He loved his family very much and enjoyed every second he spent watching them grow up. He was very proud of his children and very pleased that they gave he and Linda beautiful grandchildren and a new great grand daughter. Clifford's kids and grandkids were the joy in his heart and he adored each one.

He was a hard working man and worked for many years as a farm hand and woodsmen.  Clifford was also an avid collector of scrap and wood. He enjoyed hunting and wanted to be remembered for his skills and also for teaching his family how to hold a light properly. Clifford was an outdoorsman and loved to be in the woods.

He loved a good joke and people were just thrilled to get him going, because if you got him laughing hard enough, you could also get him crying.  He really enjoyed playing cards, especially 45's with Bryant and Joanne or Jack and Pam.

Clifford was a fun loving, good hearted man who will truly be missed.

Clifford or "George", as he was known to some, is survived by his sons: Robert, Ronald and his wife Tanya and Thomas (Trisha); his daughter, Dorci Almon (Doug); his brother, Ralph (Juanetta); his sister, Louise Howe; her brother-in-law, Richard Wood; sisters-in-law: Joanne Almon and Jean Foley; his grandchildren: Robin Fanjoy (DJ), Alexandra Parlee, Josie Almon (Ryan), Darren Almon, Nathan Almon  and Noah Almon; his great granddaughter Aleta Black and several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Clifford is also survived by someone whom his family would like to thank for her kindness and for all the amazing care she has given to him since Linda's passing.  Nancy Richardson has been a true friend and caregiver to Clifford in his illness and has certainly helped his children and family to provide quality of life for Clifford and taken enormous weight off their shoulders.  They are extremely thankful.

Mr. Clifford Carl Almon of Picadilly, NB, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017 at the Sussex Health Centre, at the age of 69.

Along with his wife and parents, Clifford was also predeceased by his daughter Tracy, his grandson Eric, brothers: Tom, Bud, Doug and Bryant; his sister Jane Wood and brother-in-law Ronnie Howe.
