I was saddened to see that Gerry has passed on. I considered him a good friend, and in many ways a kindred spirit. Although I only met Gerry in 1986, through the St. Patrick's Society, our families had known each other for decades before that and always joked that we were cousins without ever being able to trace the connection. Coming from Britain Street in the South End our families paths crossed paths frequently. I always enjoyed the time I spent with Gerry and in the recent years the St. Patrick's Society past presidents' dinners were an event I always looked forward to as Gerry and I would choose the same table so we could have a good long chat. Gerry was a fine gentleman and and a soul who will be remembered fondly whenever members of the Society get together.

Audrey and family. Carol and I want to express our deepest sympathy for your loss. Gerry was simply one of the finest persons I've ever known and I cherished my friendship with him. As you all know, Dad and Gerry were so very close and shared many great times visiting or trailering Gerry's horses wherever they needed to be.
After Dad passed away I had the pleasure of visiting Gerry and Audrey every now and then at the house to catch up on things and get some great advice...something I took to heart.

He was so pleasant by nature that you were indeed blessed to have enjoyed his company for so many years.
