My thoughts are with Stanley’s family as you mourn his passing and reminisce about his life and how he connected so naturally and deeply with those he knew. I have many fond memories of Uncle Stanley - from my childhood years trekking what seemed then a considerable distance from Grampy Leigh Sleep’s house to Stanley and Marie’s store for a treat, and riding with Stanley on his tractor to get firewood. In later years we walked at a measured pace to inspect his apple orchard. I’m glad my kids were able to meet him two summers ago...he will be missed..
