Wayne Flaglor

Obituary of Wayne Edward Flaglor

Wayne Edward Flaglor married the love of his life, Louise McKinley in November of 1971 and soon their family would grow and their love story would carry on through their three boys: Mark, Steven and Richard.

Wayne was a family man first and foremost, he had all he could ever ask for in his little family. The love of his cats of course came in at a very close second.

His passion for local history, quickly turned into collecting Sussex memorabilia. In 1984, this would blossom into the business that Wayne and Louise loved very much: "Come Bye Chance Antiques".

Wayne will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.

He will live on in the hearts of the love of his life, Louise; his sons: Mark (Johanne) and Steven (Stephanie) both of Montreal and Richard (Paola) of Vancouver; his sister, Dianne Flaglor of Sussex; his sisters-in-law: Rhoda Crandall of Sussex, Paula Akerley and Phyllis Thorne-Calvert (Eric) all of Alma; his brothers-in-law, Stuart McKinley of Campobello, Austin (Rhonda) of West River and Allan (Heather) of Riverview; his grandchildren: Vanessa, Zachary and Jasmine; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Wayne Edward Flaglor of Roachville passed away peacefully on December 12, 2017 at the age of 70; after a lengthy illness.

He was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Veta McKinley; his father-in-law, Fred McKinley and by his brothers-in-law: Dean Thorne and Gerald Akerley.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). At Wayne's request a private family service will be held at a later date.
