Mr. Lloyd Melbourne Blackett was born in Little Pond on June 5, 1936, he was the son of the late Dominick and MarieAnna (Sabident) Blackett. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his ironic humor. Lloyd will be so very sadly missed by his beloved wife, Laureen (Lee) Goddard; his only surviving sibling; his loving sister, Bertha Mae LeBlanc of Weymouth, NS. Lloyd is also survived by his stepdaughter, Karen Hummel of Sussex Corner and his stepson, Paul Goddard and his wife Debbie of Chatwynd, BC; his step grandchildren: Melissa Adair of Calgary, Michelle Hummel of Fort MacMurray and Nicholas Goddard of Plaster Rock; as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers: Daniel, Harris, J. William (Bill), A. Ross, Milton, Bert and Munsey and by his sisters: Caroline, Mabel, E. Joyce, Marguerite and Martha.
