Obituary of Donald Wayne Taylor

Donald Wayne Taylor, son of the late Ernest and Dorothy (Passmore) Taylor, was born on May 3rd 1936, in Oakville, Ontario.

Don met and married the love of his life on November 1st 1958, only 11 short weeks after they began dating. He was always proud to share the beautiful story of how they met, and took pride in sharing their success in marriage.

Don always dreamt of owning a farm, in 1973 he, along with his wife and five children made the trip from St. Anne’s Ont. and moved to Mannhurst Rd., just outside of Petitcodiac, NB. Don owned and operated a successful farm from 1973-1988. In 1988, he began a new business called ‘The Pine Place’, where he fabricated a variety of hand crafted pine furniture pieces. He went to his shop daily to work, up until October 2017. He and his wife Irene took great pleasure in selling these pieces at the Moncton Farmers Moncton until October 2017.

Don will live on in the hearts of his loving wife of 59 years, Irene (Coldrick); their children: Stephen of Mannhurst, Brian of Mannhurst, Tim and his wife Charlene of Amherst NS, Brenda Keith and her husband Greg of Smiths Creek, and Richard and his wife Michelle of Pearsonville; his siblings: Joan Sanderson and her husband Bruce of Selkirk, ON, Gladys Prichard and her husband Jack of Hamilton, ON, Bert Taylor of London, ON, Tina Campbell and her husband Wayne of Brampton, ON, Brenda Bourne and her husband Doug Gravenhurst, ON, Richard Taylor of Gore Bay, ON, Phillip Taylor of Belleville, ON and Barb Taylor-Astley of Powell River, BC; 13 grandchildren: Steve Taylor (Amanda Allain), Jason Taylor, Brianna Taylor, Holly Taylor (Joe Walsh), Amanda Deegan (Derek), Donald Taylor and his wife Jennifer, Natasha Little and her husband Paul, Lisa Taylor (Andrew), Matthew Keith and his wife Terra, Melissa Perry and her husband Steve, Amy Taylor (Adam), Ryan Taylor, Avery Norwood and Samantha Peterson; as well as several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
