Obituary of Willis Mark Anderson

 

Mr. Willis Mark Edward Anderson was born on January 1, 1924 in Wards Creek, NB. He was the son of the late Mark and Sarah Anderson.

 

He was a life member of KC Soil and Crop Association, past member and director of the  NB Milk Marketing Board, a member of the  Holstein Association and past member and director of the Sussex Area Milk Producers.

 

Willis will live on in the hearts of his loving wife of 70 years, Marion (Bell) Anderson; his daughter, Joanne Huestis of Wards Creek; his son, Charles Anderson  and his wife Roben of Wards Creek; his grandchildren: Mark Anderson and his wife Marjorie of Wards Creek, Bethany Sutton and her husband Larry of Petitcodiac, Naomi MacKay and her husband Jordan of Sussex, Sally Keddy and her husband Gary of Springfield, Sandra Huestis of Fredericton; his great grandchildren: Iain Anderson, Collin Sutton, Charles Sutton, Larah Sutton, Cooper Sutton and Sarah Keddy; his close friend, Frank MacKay and his special caregiver, Sheila Drury; as well as several nieces and nephews.

 

Willis Mark Edward Anderson of Wards Creek passed away at his residence on February 27, 2018 at the age of 94.

 

He is predeceased by his sisters: Geneva Parlee, Grace Irvine and Edna Lynch; his son, Beverly and his grandson, Ronald Huestis.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 1-3 and 6-8pm. A service celebrating Willis' life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11am. 


If you are considering making a memorial donation the family has recommended the Millview Cemetery, St. John's United Church or the memorial of the donor's choice.

 

The family would like to give special thanks to all of Willis' home care workers and to Phyllis Henricks and Lisa Lewis for all of their love, care and compassion.
