Dear Laura & Keith & family,
How wonderful to know that your dear Mom and Sister Betty is no longer suffering the ravages of disease. Saying goodbye is never easy, but it helps to know that Betty is in the presence of the Lord and is with her beloved Hartley and Carrie, and will never again know pain, sorrow, sickness, or death.

We were so sorry to learn of your Mom's passing. We first met her when she worked at Ocean Steel. She was always upbeat and up for anything. Even after she left Ocean, we would often meet at the WalMart or Costco, but wherever or whenever, we would pick up the conversation as if we had just spoken yesterday. So sorry to hear of the loss of your dear sweet mother and grandma. Your Mom and Dad were such wonderful and dear folks to Bonnie & I; we always enjoyed having them as a faithful part of our FGA family for many years! The lovely pic above of her, is how we remember her; a beautiful smile, fun loving and enjoying life! Losing a loved one is never easy as you well know; but the hope that we have as believers in Christ does for sure ease our pain and brings us comfort. The Bible tells us not to grieve as those who have no hope... (1 Thess. 4:13); We do grieve, but NOT as those with no hope, because we have the GREAT HOPE of the resurrection and eternity together with all of our loved ones in Christ who have gone on before us.
