Obituary of Edris Anderson

 

It is with sadness that the family of Edris Florence Anderson, age 91, of Sussex, NB, announces her death which occurred on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the Sussex Health Centre.  She was born in Smith's Creek, NB, on April 27, 1926, wife of the late George A. Anderson and a daughter of the late Robert and Ida (Mabee) Chestnut.

 

Edris enjoyed country and fiddle music, country and western shows, dancing, playing auction 45's and going on bus tours.

 

She is survived by her daughters Linda Anderson (Kenny) of Sussex, NB, Nancy Anderson (Raymond) of Moncton, NB, Betty Ann (Percy) Hall of Collina, NB; son Brian Anderson of Sussex, NB; grandchildren Tina Anderson-Gregg (Donnie), Dereck Gregg (Jessica), Mark Hall (Lori), Troy Hall, Jeff Hall, Nick Hall (Marlene), Benjamin Hall, Samantha Homeney (Anthony) and Jacob Melanson; several great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Jean Chestnut of Trenton, ON, Laura Anderson of Newtown, NB; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.   Besides her parents and husband George, she was predeceased by her son James, daughter Cathy; grandsons Jamie and Randy Hall; brothers Earl, Cecil, Ken, George, Donald and sister Hazel Hornbrook.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8pm.  Funeral Service  be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 11:00am.
