Obituary of David Hinsley Green
David Hinsley Green, 71, of Sussex, NB passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 27, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Mary Green, daughters Marie Baines (Paul), Margaret Jones (Lucas), Joy Harrington (Ken), sisters Joy Jennings (Bob) and Margaret Williams (David), brother Bob Green (Kathy), grandchildren Alyssa Walsh (Trent), Emily Baines, Olivia Baines, Harmonee Baines, Ezri Jones, Owyn Jones, Natalia Jones, Carter Harrington, Kaden Harrington, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. David was a loving Father, Papa, Friend, and Brother in Christ.
Ontario-born, David was proud to say he was an Albertan and also a Maritimer. He truly embraced each place he lived and proudly called it home.
David was a passionate man who played the piano with his soul. He enjoyed reading, writing, and cooking the perfect meal. You could be sure to find him in his favourite chair with a cup of tea, playing his iPad, while his mind was writing his next exhortation or bible study.
David was proud to be married to the love of his life, Mary. He was always concerned Mary would have everything she ever wanted. David provided Mary with so much love, care and understanding. He was her Rock. Together, travelling with their three beautiful girls. Family vacations with Bible School destinations were always important to them.
David was extremely proud of his daughters, but his pride and joy was being Papa to his grandchildren. There was no accomplishment, big or small, that didn’t go unnoticed.
Please join us in celebration of his life.
