I spent alot of time when I was young, and when I had no family I felt I had one with yours. Blaine was someone I respected and loved as a father replacement.
I know he and Phillis loved their family and I always wish I had the same but such is life, I wasnt and life moved on but to this day I still love all of you and only pray you all are well.

Dear Phyllis, I can fondly recall meeting Blaine in Fredericton on the day we joined the Force in August, 1964 ... and the friendship we shared over many years. For many years he looked after me out west.

Sorry to hear of Blaine's passing. I have many great memories growing up at the rink and playing with Kirk with Blaine coaching. He was a great coach, taught everyone that individual stats don't matter, we win as a team and lose as a team. He was no nonsense but gave praise when it was due creating a fun atmosphere.

I have many great memories from our early hockey careers and Blaine (and Phyllis) were a big part of that. He helped shape us as hockey players but better yet taught us many valuable life skills about hard work and dedication. I look back on those years and the hockey camp vacations in PEI with nothing but great memories.
