Obituary of Gregory Leo Foley

 

Mr. Gregory Leo Foley was born in Badger, Newfoundland on February 18, 1951; he was the son of the late William and Margaret (Hurley) Foley.

 

He worked at Potash Mines, then drove truck for many years. He loved to go for long drives in the country, loved fishing and hunting and going to Martin Head. He was loving husband, father and grandfather, he loved spending time with family and friends.

 

Left behind with loving memories are his wife, Jean; his children: Gregory, Tanya and her husband Dave, Billy and his wife Kristen, Dorothy and her husband Dave, Jerry and his wife Susan, David and his wife Annette and Doug and his wife Kim; his sister, Mary King; his brothers: Ben and Edward and his wife Viola; his grandchildren: Cara, Tora, Mercedes, Kaley, Leanne, Mark, Matt (Siobhain), Carrie (Craig), Tara (Jeremy), Lucas, Jacob, David, Tia and Shelby; In-laws: Walter, Weldon (Hilda), Hazel, Mary Richardson, Nancy Richardson and Clarence (Verna).

 

He is predeceased by his parents: William and Margaret Foley; his brothers: Sylvester, Frank, Harry, Joe and Dan; his brothers-in-law: Phil King, Jim Richardson and Dallas Richardson; his sisters-in-law: Bertha Garland and Shirley Almon; his in-laws: Warren and Etta Richardson.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A Graveside service will be held in Lester Cemetery, Lower Millstream on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 2pm.
