Obituary of Sarah Mallory

Mrs. Sarah Lillian Mallory was born in Roachville on May 18, 1947; she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Hersey) Chestnut. Sarah loved fiddle and old time country music, playing games; especially UNO, Yahtzee, Cribbage, Bingo and of course her scratch tickets. She also enjoyed taking pictures, building puzzles, doing crosswords, walking through the mall and watching TV; especially Little House on the Prairie, The Walton's and soap operas. Sarah also loved to laugh and spend time with her family. Above all else, family was most important to Sarah. Each child and grandchild was special to her but she loved all her children exactly the same. She wanted the best for each of them and was very proud of their accomplishments. Sarah will live on in the hearts of her husband Kenny Wry of Smith Creek; her children: Brenda Lee Briggs and her husband Mike of Cambridge Narrows, Elizabeth Hebert and her husband Fred of Belleisle and Crystal Dallon and her husband Kenny of Poodiac, Mark Mallory of Moncton and Doug Mallory of Sussex; their father, David Mallory of Sussex; ten grandchildren: Judson Carhart (Kendra Jones), Emily and Kaylea Briggs (Stephen), Donna and Amanda Hebert, Ryan Dallon (Amanda Dykens), Bernard, Crystal and Thomas Dallon, and Charles Mallory; three great grandchildren: Blake, Jaxson and Kadeance; her sister, Anne Mallory and her husband Raymond of Poodiac; five brothers: Ronnie Chestnut of Saint John, Cecil Chestnut of BC, Kenny Chestnut and his wife Brenda of Toronto, Stephen of Hamilton, ON, and David Chestnut of Petitcodiac; as well as several nieces and nephews. Sarah was predeceased by her brother George Chestnut who passed away in 2001.
