Obituary of Orland Clark

It is with sadness that the family of Orland Clark, age 90, husband of Elizabeth “Betty” Clark, announces his death which occurred on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the Sussex Health Centre.  He was born on May 25, 1928, in Cumberland Bay, NB, a son of the late Albert and Greta (Fairweather) Clark. 

Orland is survived by his wife Betty of 57 years; daughters: Carol Smallman of Saint John, Dorothy Fallon of Saint John, Rita Clark of Rothesay, Anna Maher (Michael) of Lorneville, NB, Terry O'Hearn of Pokeshaw, Rose Cunningham of Yarmouth, NS and Joanne Wetmore (Jack) of Quispamsis; sons: Ronald Clark (Rose) of Martinon, Orland Clark Jr (Paula) of Saint John and Leslie Stanwood of Yarmouth, NS; son-in-law Gary Kuske of Saint John; brothers: Glendon Clark (Vivian), Arnold Clark (Sheila); sisters: Hilda Watson, Helen Rees; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his daughters: Glenna Kuske and Laura Lester; son Raymond; son-in-law Brian O’Hearn; brothers Eddie, Earnie, Lloyd, Dale and sister Muriel Dunham.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex NB (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm.  The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 2:00pm from Wallace Community Chapel.  Interment will take place in Cumberland Bay Cemetery.
