Obituary of Ted Fair
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Theresa Jane Fair, which occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on July 1, 2018 at the age of 91. She was the wife of the late William Fair and a daughter of the late William and Julia (Dubee) Parlee.
Theresa was always known to friends and family as Ted. She had a pure heart of gold and was loved dearly by all who knew her. She loved family and was always at the center of organizing the annual Summer family reunions. She had a passion and talent for music and played keyboard, guitar, according and violin. She was the church organist for many years and also spent time volunteering at the Kiwanis Nursing Home to play accordion for the residents.
She had a strong faith and was always very involved in the church taking part in all events and functions. She sang ands played at all services and took great pride as the care-taker of the St. Phillips Church in the Head of Millstream.
Ted was a proud member of the Norton Legion Ladies Auxiliary, The Catholic Women`s League and Berwick Seniors. She bowled on a team for many years and was on the debate team when she was in school.
She will live on in the hearts of her daughters; Kathy McMillan and her husband Bill of Head of Millstream, Heather Miller and her husband Earl of Head of Millstream; sons John Fair and his wife Colleen of Head of Millstream, Jeffrey Fair and his wife Kelly of Head of Millstream; grandchildren Eric McMillan (Lisa), Scott McMillan (Melissa), Karen McMillan (Randy), Justin McMillan (Natalie), Matthew McMillan (Laleah), Rebecca McMillan (Zach), Jason Miller (Jenny), Jennifer Miller (Dave), Danny Fair (Ashley), Amanda Arthurs (Dave), Shane Fair, Chase Fair, Taylor Fair, as well as many great and great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She has gone to be reunited with the love of her life, William Fair who she lost in March of 2003; her sisters Mary Young, Ida Mason, Frances Goggin; brothers William, Charles, Murray and many other close family and friends.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex NB (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 from 1-3 and 6-8pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Ted will be held from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 11am. The interment will take place in St. Phillip’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Millstream, NB.
