Obituary of Theresa Ellen Middleton

Theresa was born in Poodiac on April 25, 1953; she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ella (Sanford) McLaughlin and was the wife of the late Frank Middleton who passed away in 2003. Theresa worked for School District 6 for 25 years, taking care of a variety of schools in the Sussex area. In her free time, she enjoyed quality time with her family "in home" every Sunday at the family farm. When not with her family, she kept a spotless home and could be found gardening, painting inside and out, or finding a good purchase around town. One would often find her listening to country music and sometimes enjoying a good dance. She was a devoted mother and wife and loved by many. Theresa will live on in the hearts of her son, James Middleton and Bronwyn Langpap of Sussex; her stepsons: Danny Middleton and his wife Connie of Alberta and Roger Middleton and his wife Leslie of Ottawa; her brothers: Gary McLaughlin and his wife Tracey of Havelock, David McLaughlin and his wife Jessie of Plumweseep, Fred McLaughlin and his wife Jane of Sussex Corner and William McLaughlin of Poodiac; her sisters: Gloria Payne and her husband Frank of Hillsdale, Marie McLaughlin and her husband Doug of Rockville and Eileen Hardy and her husband George of Cassidy Lake; her grandchildren: Miranda, Samantha and Jesse; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Theresa Ellen Middleton of Millbrook passed away at the Sussex Health Center on June 21, 2012 at the age of 59. She was predeceased by her brother, Phillip. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Friday, June 22nd from 1-3 and 6-8pm. A Celebration of Theresa's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 10:00am. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
